Echo doesn’t copy Husqvarna, Echo makes the best trimmers, blowers and everything else except mowers all their handheld is so much better to all the other companies.
That's a tall order to live up to. I like most of Echo's products myself, and sell them, but looking back I'll be the first to admit they have made some turds over the years (266 models, CS-550p,) at least compared to what preceded them (260, cs-530). You'll find some headwinds anywhere with such strong blanket statements, even if you believe them and despite the fact that you may be right. But yes, overall Echo has some of the best equipment in the landscaping sector particularly. I think that has primarily to do with their extremely long history of casting parts themselves (pistons and cylinders) and nearly impeccable QC, as well as the fact that they often put longevity and ease of service over weight and power, which is a hindrance to some people. Even if I'd rather have a long-lasting, easy-starting machine, I respect that power and handling floats some people's boats.

Echo -- The One That Lasts.

Yes, they do. I pulled out my Echo 3900 today and it started easily. My barber bought it 25 years ago, and it runs today after lots of operating hours. He sold it to me after he lost his leg. I'd like to put an 18" bar on it but never have because the case that came with it was designed to hold a 16" bar. Regardless, this chainsaw will probably last forever:

Very reliable. It always starts and always runs well.
