Sounds like they just may be lazy about it. Husky is the same way on some products. Alot of their IPL's only go up to 2017 or 2018.

Morning guys, Looking for Oregon clutch drum kit part numbers for the CS4400. I see a serial break by echo so I assume two different sizes on brgs. //drums. Any info would help as OEM drums are now in the $40 range. Thx. timg

Any places out there that have obsolete parts for the vintage Echo's.

Jacob, What ever happened to Bob.

He's still around, he doesn't do the forums anymore but I've seen him pop in on a couple of the Facebook chainsaw groups.

Last time I talked to him he was slowing down on the saw scene and was busy with family stuff.

Way slower than the 550 by a lot, but can roughly match it more or less when both are properly modified.

I'd like to see a 490 and 4910 both done by joe and run on his dyno back to back. Don't know that there would be a huge difference once ported.
I bet you are right. If a guy just wanted to defeat the carb screw limiters and do a simple muffler mod, the 4910 would probably be better. I think Echo says 20 some percent better in stock form. Either way lots of bang for the buck$
