Echo CS1200vls vs CS1201

What are the differences? When did they discontinue the 1200 and replace it with the 1201?

088/880 type deal? Did Echo beat Stihl to ending their model numbers with a 1?

Not sure on the exact changes. Clutch, coil those types of things.

I have all models, 1100, 1200 and 1201 but i'm not sure on differences and year changes.
All mine run great so no need to take them apart to investigate the changes. I run a new
1201 at gtg's and it is a hoot to run with a 42 incher on it.
