I see the saws production dates listed as running from 1978 to 1985.
Nice to see what you did for the old saw!
I think that there's a little something to be said for Japans efforts from around that time.
...as I sit here (3a.m.) with an '82 vintage Yamaha M-70 amp gently muscling along with some other, truly Japanese built, stereo gear of that era.
Japan was looking to make their global name at that time and some solidly made gear sometimes came out of those efforts.
