has anyone tried the E3 spark plugs in their saws? I wasnt able to get an ngk at the hardware store that is a stihl dealer unless i got a whole kit of stuff that i didnt need. so i got one to try and so far it has been working out, but i dont run my saws every day. Just curious.

Ive never used one, had a couple saws i worked on that had them in there, swapped out for ngk. dont usually get down for gimmicks, which is how i view those plugs. Maybe they are sweet, and im sure they work, but just not for me.

I have heard the ground electrodes are weak and prone to breaking. Not a good situation in a saw. Again, just hearsay, but I won't use them.

I have had a couple brand new ngks not work over the last 5 years or so. But never had one or seen one create a catastrophic failure. Lookin forward to tryin some denso plugs from @cuinrearview
I'm keeping my eye out for a 10mm cmr6h equivalent.

No more "nippon". They dropped that over 20 years ago.

Good morning, I run w22mp-u Denso plug in all my older saws. And new saws is w22mpr-u resitor plug. Nerver had a fail on Denso plugs. I have been looking after the smaller plug With 10mm. But I havent find any, maybe Denso dont make any.
