Here are a few of the latest fleet saws I’ve been dyeing. We use them for felling, bucking, and aloft…always hawk-eyed to which saw is cutting well in the moment, and which need particular attention before getting put away at night.
Any more clean techniques I should be aware of?
I’d like to try using blue (I don’t bother with black) dye over custom vinyl stickers in order to peel them off and have an orange “462” showing. The bottom saw in the picture has a masked-off one piece cover.
Tomorrow I want to take the full comp chain off of the stock half-wrap 462 and put it on the 400… keeps me more nimble when everything above 20” is running skip tooth.
