These 390s must love plenty of exhaust because mine has a huge step down and the muffler is triple ported but it pulls 28" 404 very well noodling with the bar buried

I do a bunch of 390s, of course that don't mean I do em better.

I take .035 outta the squish, then cut the base for a .022 clearance. Then I leave the intake and exhaust height where they land. The transfers at 122.

Well this part is cobbled up. Lol. I don't think it turned out horrible for what I had. New one won't take long to get here.

I advanced the timing 5° tonight and put the unlimited coil on. Which didn't fit worth a hoot! Had to grind on it to make it fit right. However it's on and the oem on will be in the box!

All new fuel lines and starter rope installed as well.

I love it though.. Seen over 100 saws with a mod like this (Stihls just have 30 holes cut in the front cover and Husq has a slot)!!

I'm pretty sure Shaun has cut boost ports into p60/61 pioneer jug or two. His p60/61 will out cut 655's... Gotta love a good BP!

Think I'm gonna try my hand at doing some silver solder muff mods like Mike was doing. He said he was getting burnt out on them and I always liked the looks of them. Think a 520i with 3/4-7/8" pipe out the front should be fun! [emoji3]

Liking this build and waiting anxiously for a vid to be posted.

I will be overhauling and porting my 394 in the coming months. Have a Red97 deflector that will find a tidy home on the muffler of that.
