I'll keep that in mind Mike. I've had this saw apart a half dozen times since I built it so I'm sure today won't be the last. There's power in the lowers. You don't want to cause turbulence into the transfers. I did one with now machine work thst hit 180 and I'm at 1100' elevation.
They work well. I've used them on dirt bike/ ATV cylinders.I been wanting to try one of the emery balls
They r pretty $$$ thoughThey work well. I've used them on dirt bike/ ATV cylinders.
Yup.They r pretty $$$ though
Put that divider back in and run it. It should tune a little better with it in.Carb mocked up. Impulse is way short with either one but that's an easy fix.[emoji4]
Guess I'll start with the rwj..divider is pulled.
What was the squish between the two different pistons?Initial compression. Very lightly oiled piston/ring. Also a little proof it's in there. Lol

I'll try it. My 385 seems to like it better without.Put that divider back in and run it. It should tune a little better with it in.
With the divider in. There should be more velocity going over the jets and pulling more fuel.
At least that is my thoughts.......might be way off base.
Not gonna lie Brian. I slapped it in and ran it. I know the meteor was .020-.022.What was the squish between the two different pistons?
I'll try the Tilly after I mess with the walbro some more. The 385 boot is bigger so it might be causing some fuel puddling.I liked the tillotson more better on mine. Need to find one for it.
That's with RED ARMOR OIL correct? If not you can gain 40% by running it mixed 90:1 with kerosene....I did one in my 353. Gained about 10psi, it's a welded pop-up.
Well of course it would with Red Armor! Where have u been? Under a rock???That's with RED ARMOR OIL correct? If not you can gain 40% by running it mixed 90:1 with kerosene....
It sound's good seems to have good torque.Try this...
I'm using the walbro now but yes the Tilly is a 385 carb.Is that a 385 tilly carb.
