272xp coil is unlimited. Yes you use the 7910 coil wire. It actually works better to buy some stihl coil wire so you can lengthen it more but the 7910 coil wire will work. 30-35 advance should work good for you. Just play with it and see.I'll see how it does with the oem coil. To use the aftermarket coil I think I read somewhere that you need to advance the saw 35 degrees. I'm having a hard time with the search locating exactly what needs to be done. Also the coil wire doesn't reach very good. Could I take the lead out of the oem and use in the am coil. What is the am coil limited to? Thanks
Ok. I think I might just switch it over tonight. I think I have a length of new coil wire laying around somewhere.272xp coil is unlimited. Yes you use the 7910 coil wire. Redfin ? Who dat guy[emoji85]Yesterday John aka Redfin stopped by where I'm working and got that 7910 I built. I'm working 10 min from his house, and it was a pleasure meeting him . Hopefully we can setup a time to cut and shoot the *s-word sometime.
But I wanted someone else to run it and give me a little feedback. Good or bad. I have alot to learn and appreciate everyone's help. I know I'm slow at building them but I can only work on stuff when I get time. Work and kids keep me pretty wore out. Thanks John for doing this!!
Heck I might even git to drive it[emoji2]T4 you be lucky to see that saw agin........heheee
