Well I promised a video with a 32” bar and 8 pin. Running semi skip round file and the oiler has been modified to handle this bar. The wood is oak.
Well... I can’t tell/feel the difference. 7900 is modified pretty much the same way, except it has a screen and more intake duration.

These are a lot more difficult than a 7900 muffler. There is a brace welded into the back of the muffler from the factory, so I threw out the rest of the crap in there. I cut off the end of the birdcage like on the 7900 muffler. 850C4DF5-393E-48F9-A719-FCD3069A2B81.jpegC6F8707E-F3AD-40B7-811F-8838965A76B8.jpeg 631E280A-C1B6-424E-A3B7-6324F0F28851.jpegScreen can still be used if desired.

FYI don’t try opening a 6421 muffler with a screwdriver or pliers. Side cutters and LOTS of heat. You’ll also need lots of heat, a small hammer for hammering down the seam and flat head pliers to squeeze together the crimp. These stainless mufflers are way stronger than the original 7900 mufflers and heavier as well. It feels like it weighs a lot less now that it’s been operated on.
