I've always noticed on my two Makita's that they build a lot more pressure in the fuel tank with temperature changes compared to the other brands. I started to get into the habit of cracking the gas cap before I begin to start them. If I don't, they seem to flood immediately.

I've had problems with them flooding when I run one right after it's been shipped to me, other than that it hasn't been a problem for me, seemed odd.

Yeah they aren’t fussy. New ones, old ones, they all do it
How'd you find it, pulling it apart to port it.
Was it shipped with that in there, sure the oost office would like that 😆. Then again, can't tell you how many guys have sent saws full of fluids :rolleyes:.

Most of them I’ve picked up at gtg’s or they brought them to mine.
