Trying to find out what is the best option for a piston for the 5100s seems they don’t make one that’s readily available.

Is the best option for Husqvarna 2101 piston and cylinder going to be hyway? I’ve always had good luck with meteor just hearing opinions for the best option thanks again in advanced

OEM cylinder and Meteor piston would be my first choice. The few OEM 2100 pistons I've seen were barely serviceable and pricey.

I’ve already used even the very maligned Golf pistons without issue (not on this model). The bottom line is that most pistons themselves are functional, but it is the accessory quality that makes or breaks a piston (clip, ring, pin quality).

Yeh, any of the pistons that aren't dirt cheap and from who knows where are likely going to work good as any. Huge quality differences with cylinders.

There are these for 2100 - RMC brand out of Italy. I know nothing about them.

If they're the same ones I'm thinking of I had one on a 298. Power wise it seemed on par with a stock 2100 from what I recall. A quick google shows a thread on AS where they posted pics of the internals and they look to be pretty decent quality.

I think @Stump Shot might have experience with the Duke’s 2100 cylinder
