I only have two...
the first one i bought, and the last one i bought.
Seriously though i have a dedicated semi trailer for saws now,and if i put them all in there it would be a hoard. But i keep telling myself I'm saving them from a horrible death.

I have about 30+ saws. I have 10-20 extra jugs, 20-30 extra Pistons, and many parts for saws that I don't own but "may" someday.

I cut maybe 4 cords a year, if I'm lucky. My business has nothing to do with trees or wood. I partially heat with wood, but don't need to.

I fix and clean some saws up so nice, that I change my mind about selling them.

I don't see any problem with it.

I have started rebuilding old broken saws to turn them over for a bit of money.
I find my self thinking the following about almost every one that I have to fix

"Gee, one of them would be handy"

Do you have C.A.D when you look at an 090 and think it would be handy to have around?

I have more than enough capable firewood saws. Over that part of Cad, now my new obsession is 2-piece race saws. Have the 3 and 5 cube covered, but have a bunch on cube's left to fill the Ice tray. If ported saws are a fad, then what are race saws??
372 your 5 cube?

Said this before, will say it again. If you bring 1 saw to the woods, get all set to go, pull until you are tired... it won't start. Next time you get smart, bring 2 saws into the woods. First saw gets the bar stuck, 2nd saw won't start. Hard and fast rule... bring 3 saws into the woods, minimum.

who's with me?

:)

Or bring 1 stihl and cut wood all day with the same saw

For the last 2 years my main saw was the 046 when it wasn't robbed of parts. Never let me down like several huskies sadly. Only problem with the 088 was the oiler leaking a little. My 266 has been good what little I bring it out and use it. My 365/372s stay apart more than together trying stuff and porting top ends for others.

I think I sold 4 or 5 parts saws this past 3 weeks. Bought a 3120 during that time though. In weight they evened out:coleman:

Yes I have CAD. I also have three homes one of which is a farm. I keep an 026 and 044 at the main house. I keep an 028 at the secondary house. The farm has the rest. Considering the different locations I have a need for 10 runners. So I've only got 5-6 extras. Should I count the new inventory at the shop. Maybe it's worst than I think. Ill take any Pro Saw someone will send me. I have it and like it.

My saws in order of purchase:
- late 80's - Sachs-Dolmar 285 - electric, damaged housing/R.I.P.
- late 80's - Sachs-Dolmar 105
- 2006. - Dolmar PS-6400
- 2014. - Dolmar PS-7900
- 2015. - Sachs-Dolmar 108

The Sachs-Dolmar 285 is "dead", but I still have her.
The Sachs-Dolmar 105 is partially dismantled but should run fine once put back together.
The Dolmar PS-6400, Dolmar PS-7900 and Sachs-Dolmar 108 are runners.

I waited too long to react on a great PS-7310 deal and I passed up on a decent PS-7910 deal.
I also only look at Dolmar's, other brands do not wake any interest in me for whatever reason.

That been said I guess I am not chronically C.A.D. infected, but I do have more saws than I need and crave to use them.
