I can contact my friend Alain, he might know exactly what model it is, also Cliff and Rick are good sources for identifying old mag saws.
I would say Clinton for sure but many of the models on acres don't have pics so it is hard to narrow down. That one looks interesting and might live at daves house eventually

I have a Strunk back in VA, but it is locked up. Only gave $5 for it at a Beiler's auction long before I began collecting saws, I doubt it is worth $3500. :)

Leonard Strunk was an interesting character, he even ran for governor of PA in 1974 and held several patents. In the end his chainsaw factory cost him several million dollars. He sold the farm containing the factory in 1988 for a little over $2.5M but buried chemicals were found after a former employee provided a tip. Strunk was ordered to pay about $1 million to the buyer for misrepresentation, the court forgave $1.25 M owed from the purchaser due to not disclosing the chemical dump and he was forced to pay for the cleanup. He and his wife moved to AZ and he died in the early '90's and the factory site is now a park, the remaining portion of his dairy farm is a housing development. Of note, his personal Cold War era bomb shelter is now a main attraction of the park.

The fun and more often the challange is getting them to run in the first place .The novelty of actually using one is rather short lived .---says the guy with a half a shed full of boat anchors---

+1. like the hunt, and dealin, too. some can go down the road, once ive run em a bit.

that was easy, can I also send you four boxes of 009, 010, 011, 012, 015 and 020AV parts ? :)

I could see Jason putting together a hotrod 020AV...

how close are you to a Fastenal location?
I can probably put together a pallet load of that stuff and throw in a few boxes of 041 to balance the load :)
they are a really cheap way to ship bulk stuff on a pallet.
Jimmy C taught me that :)

Jimmy is a very sharp man and a good old boy.

I think the mystery saw is a Lombard or a Cobra, based on the design of the shroud. It's a very early one.

The DO-100 has a desirable chain on it, an early square chisel chain developed in house. The blue Homelite looks like a Zip or a Wiz. The red and green Homelite looks like a model 17 or a 5-20. The one McCulloch with the long bar looks like a Super 44 or a Super 55 (I can't tell if it's a gear drive or not).

mystery mac I found another dark picture but it points to maybe a D44 or a 55?

the cover looks alot more "vintage" than the rest of the saw

I believe that is a Choremaster. The shape and colors are right. Here is a pic of mine I recently picked up.

First time I have ever seen a Weber Engineering Products company Choremaster, good going on that . A little detective work turned up these picts,

I think mystery homie #2 is a 19 or a 7-19 gear drive or not gear drive.

The McCulloch is a 44, 72 cc hot rod in its day. The S44/55 and S44/55A have the spark plug off center in the head, on the 44/55 saws the spark plug is dead center in the head and the AF cover is the stamped metal like you show in the photo. The S and S/A models had a cast AF cover.

I agree that $35oo for any of the saws seems out of line, unless you can find some whack on a TV reality show...

The Wright reciprocating saws can be had for $50 or less, most of the others would be $50 to $100 full retail prices.

I was not trying to say he should pay that, I was just saying that is what I saw one sell for locally.
