That’s my size, if they were steel/composite toe I’d take you up on that offer.
Gotta watch out for them Redwings.
A great boot, but when you ask for a resole, they can't say glue is used from US of A. horses.
@ China these days like most boots!

Yeah they do, but still can fill all your boot needs with the USA ones they do have
Danner is all I will wear. Acadias or Ft. Lewis for LE duty wear, Firelines for hot work or saw work, Explorers or Mtn lights for regular field work and hiking. I had a pair of brown, all leather, lace to toe boots similar to an explorer only in a 8” boot. Wish they still made those!

You may have better luck with Wesco for gaffs Ryan. I’ve never had Danner but I bought some Hoffman boots and they’re holding up good. They aren’t the most comfortable though for $245. They’re USA made.

1081B97D-FD76-49D1-A6E6-8B743215601B.png Not to get to far off subject but I to need to find a pair of boots for Woods work, firewood cutting/splitting etc. Iss like to get something decent. A guy I know who’s a logger recommended Matterhorn boots. Wondering if anyone here has experience with them. He wears a chainsaw protective boot. Wonder how heavy/bulky they’d feel. I think the model is M2000 . Sawmimkaze it looks like they don’t have much of a heel but I don’t have any idea how they would work with gaffs.

I thought the @junkman ran those.
I like the danner super rain Forest model ,omly ones i can wear in rain all day or pressure wash in and have dry feet ,they are kind of spendy about 400 bucks though and have low heels ,200 gram thinsulate are not hot for year round in this area.

I have a set of danner quarry also ,they are a lot thinner leather than rain forest model ,lot lighter ,have softer souls also which helps on concrete ,they will leak through if work in lot of mud after a while though.

All the ones I've seen had the made in USA tag on them..how would i know the difference ?
Only danners i know of fully american made are the rain forests or super rain forests ,all the others have the flag ,assembled in usa with overseas parts ,you can tell the difference in the leather between them ,i am on 2nd year of these super rain forests ,pony up for the super ones if get them the reg rain forests are lighter leather ,the 200 gram ones are my favorites so far ,they have the blue footbeds that are replaceable ,the non insulated oned i got had no insoles and a piece of plastic inside for a heel support ,i tried putting insoles in them and were too tight .i do not like the hook things for the laces so i rip them out when new ,last pic is today 2 years later same boots .I need to send these and my other ones to danner to resoul them ,when get about half worn down they don't grab logs so good when walking them to limb em ,i would not recommend these for walking steep roofs for construction ,souls are too hard and don't stick KIMG0198_01.JPG KIMG0200.JPG danner 932.jpg
