Good afternoon fellas. After talking with a few of the members here and Dallas himself, it appears that a fundraiser is in order.

As some or most of you know by now, Dallas has not been able to work for quite some time. He had heart surgery and then has a debilitating back injury with advanced arthritis that they have not been able to fix. He has been denied benfits and disability. As we all know, the medical costs and time off work are expensive and the monthly bills don't stop. I know Dallas probably rubs some people the wrong way and has not been really active in the short term, but I do know he stills watches. I hope we can all come together as a community of chainsaw guys/gals to help a guy out.

I will be tracking all the donations and will track and update the list of raffle items. As always a $10.00 donation gets your name in the drawing. One ticket for every $10.00 donation. Please help us out and add your username when you make a donation. Do not mention a raffle when making that donation. A raffle list will be posted and updated as the items come in.

How long are yall thinking of letting this run for?

I will be away from home for ~2weeks, but I might could scrounge up a raffle item and some funds to donate when I get back.

@Woodrow if needed I should have a list of the members names and usernames from Steven Linn’s raffle. I can check when I get home and email or text it to you if you’d like.
Or I’d be willing to help too

This will probably run for a few weeks at least. Once we get a feel for how the donations and prize list are going, we will set a end date and a drawing date.

I have a new donation to the prize list to add. It is a port job from Gary Buxton @BuxtonSaws here in Wisconsin. He has a small shop near Broadhead and has been porting saws for a 7-8 years now. Kevin Lavanway has had some discussions with Gary if you guys have any questions.

Dan, I would like to donate my 262xp ported saw.
Was completely rebuilt by me with tons of OEM parts and a Meteor piston in a good used cylinder, to be right in every way.
Was woods ported by Doc Al as a work saw.
Has the gooder carburetor and a new winter filter installed for maximum airflow.
Saw has not been worked yet, only test cuts by myself and Doc of course.
Saw is in decent shape aesthetically speaking, but not perfect.
Should be an excellent working saw for someone's firewood needs, etc..
