Bring him! As far as I'm concerned, a kid interested in any thing other than computer crap needs to be encouraged!! As I type on my iPhone... lol!

I could get it apart, just not sure about back together. Clamshells aren't the easiest to do.
Your videos are great. Problem is, you make it look to easy. Lol

Am I better off trying to make this into a 350? If yes, do you have the stuff I need, like the base, jug and piston?

Yup...modding it a bit as it goes back together takes some time too...but it can be done. You may want to pick up some new parts to help make reassembly easier. New bearings and seals....gaskets. if you have the 45mm top end then a new meteor piston. ...fuel line and filter. Call spike60 at ashokan turf and timber and get some oem stuff from him. You can pick up your meteor piston from Hlsupply (use my link in my vids please)

Etc etc. ...it can get a bit nuts

I'm gonna try and make it on the 11th. Waiting to hear back from work, if I can take the day off. If I can make it I'll bring my little homeowner Husky too, just to fit in.
Jeff, trust me, if you do a round to square comparison you won't go back. That stuff is addicting! Plus, it's fun to tinker with.
