Looks real good Jason. I believe some of the early 12 mm 044s with the slant fin jugs may have similar port timing.

I'll have to keep a look out for some 10mm saws. I see more 044/046 than ms660 in my area. The combustion chamber size is different also I think.

Just the opposite here,044 and 046 are out numbered 10 to 1 by 660's.

A 044 is a very rare saw here,almost never see one.

Around here a lot more 440 & 460s, mostly with 20" bars. If that is what you have to cut most of the time, you really don't need the larger power head.

But for larger wood, it is good to have.

The local tree guy mostly uses 460/461s, has several 201-Ts for climbing/limbing and 660s for running the 36" bar.

Kinda covers all the bases.

Hey, I finally scored in the woods today, with the MZ in regular season (near home). A decent 8 pt, very happy with it.
Came in just before dark, I was just getting ready to leave the stand.
