Being last in line on the chain gang don't help
Yeh It's not neer as sharp as it was on the hybrid.
The 064 and hybrid were basically the same with the average going to the 064 with a 20" so it's not possible for it to loose with a 28" unless the chain ain't the same.
It's not because of anything other than its just a bigger saw and should be ahead with a longer bar.
I'm still amazed at how that hybrid runs, best one I've seen. Nice work deeter

So @paragonbuilder Dan looks like @Mattyo got the air leak sorted out on your 394? No more goin lean through that long cut through very hard wood with rough chain (sparks may be from it being loose... Was hanging off the bar looked like at vid start)

Seems that way. Yeah after the first cut it was a little loose and I was too lazy to go back to the garage and tighten it.

One thing I find interesting from the 20" videos, the times are considerably faster when the saw is self feeding. So dogging in slows the saw down.

Someone one time on AS explained to me the chain cuts more efficiently when not dogged in. The teeth near the dogs are worked differently than those out towards the nose when rotating on the dog

Can't believe the 064 was beat by a Hybrid!!!! Strong Runner Deets!!!!

The 064 had a very strong 4stroke at 14.7, I am now picking up 4 stroking better and better with all the vids you guys post!

Was 15k to lean? It had a hint of bring rich I think? I would never run it at 15k unless I was playing with a 20" bar and 9 pin sprocket for fun lol.

Plan on running mostly a Reduced weight 24 or 28. Will throw a 20 on there from time to time lol

Sent from my non internal combustion device.

15 sounded good, but after the cuts it sounded lean, so I wouldn't go that lean unless you were running a short bar in a cant
