Here is the owner's manual and IPL all rolled into one....3.7 hp, 30.5ccDo any of the members here know anything about this model of Craftsman saw?
It was recently given to me, and I don’t know much at all about it.
Poulan 3800. Should have chrome piston and bare bore. Thick rings. All good saws in that series. Look at the date stamps in the top cover. Probably later 80’s or so.Do any of the members here know anything about this model of Craftsman saw?

Judging by the cartoons and the recommendation to use 16:1 fuel/oil mixture, its been around a while (1974-1976).
Thanks fellas! It seemed to be a pretty nice saw, which it looks like it is. It doesn’t run now, but I’m sure we can get that taken care of.Poulan 3800. Should have chrome piston and bare bore.
