To many round here run their saws overly rich. To often you see a modded saw running so fat it defeats point of doing performance work on it in the first place. That's why those same people can't believe how well their Mtronic saws run, and its because they are removed from the tuning equation. You can here that twin 4 stroke during the first two cuts whenever the load is eased. Too Lean...
That’s what I thought when I first saw them. It looks healthy. Those look just fine.
Cool saw, sounds angry. This is my recently acquired 110cc. Is proving to be an awesome saw. Great SOUND !
Does Your app take into consideration its a two cylinder engine?Cant believe my RPM phone app only showed 8500 rpm in the cut! Sounds so cool!

8500 rpm in cut would not be bad for an old school vintage saw, that would put some modern saws to shame.
I’m afraid that will have to wait until next weekend. I couldn’t get around to it today. I will do it though, am very interested.Sure does, showed 17000 when set on 1 cylinder. Curious to see if @av8tor 3 gets similar reading when he checks with a tach. Still sounds crazy fast.

Too many around here run their saws overly lean because they think it increases the performance. That's why those same people are buying new pistons and cylinders. I don't hear 4 stroking in the later cuts. The OP can run it to whatever tune he wants as far as I am concerned. It might cut forever the way it is tuned now as far as I know.
No upset taken! Your comments and observations are very much appreciated. Thanks for jumping in.Anyway, wasn’t trying to upset this awesome thread about this Holy Grail of a saw. I’d be more afraid of ruining it, than a more commonly available one.
