The one I remember was 15.2k or something like that and was still 4 stroking hard. I think I tried it at 14.7k or so.

Exhaust is low- 103. And intake is 79. I bet if I raised the exhaust 2 degrees and lowered the intake to 82-84. It would run over 15 easy

I had Clints tuned to 14800. Still four stroking hard.

I just pulled my muffler cover to see what saber left at 40 to 1 ,i was doing a lot of limbing after bunch of trees dropped, it was really wet inside and the plug was black,the mobil 1 was cleaner on the plug with same carb settings ,15300 and still real rich ??????? Saw idles all day long and has instant response when cut,maybe should make some bucking cuts and rechack ? I never tached it with the mobil,just figured it out today.

Try Motul800, amazing stuff.

I was using Royal purple synthetic and had carbon buildup. I've ran 10 tanks of Motul at 32:1 and everything appears like I just assembled it.

Took me a bit to get it to read. Had to point the little arrow at the coil wire then it read

Motul won't burn until you really load a saw or run a lighter ratio. 32:1 in autotune saws with normal compression made a mess.

I run the Saber at 40:1 and just pulled the muffler from 044#1 and it is not wet at all. We must be running a different tune. My plug looks great also.

Yes at 40 to 1 ,very sooty and washed the exhaust port clean ,here is the same spark plug ,i did not change it or carb settings at 40 to 1 mobil 1 ,i did not have the tach figured out yet when ran the mobil 1 so not sure on what rpm i was at
When i pulled the recoil to cycle the piston ,could see clean blue oil on everything through the exhaust port with the saber .
