I ran the 661 stock yesterday and it's going to have to make some big gains to hang with one of my other saws,my mild ported 395 will flogg it.
Does your 660's oil well with longer bars?

Yes but the 660's have been modified, my 066's oil without any mods.

The 661 I've been running with a 28" doesn't oil very well.

On the 661 did you push the stopper pin in to get max oiler adjustment? I have found after doing that they oil well, if adjusted too far mine will drain oil tank before the fuel is gone

KG461 modified my 660 oiler. Mike helped with the instructions. Now it'll drain a tank of oil quick. But originally it didn't oil so well with a 28" ES 050 3/8 bar. I'm going only with 063 in the future.

Does the 372 oil better than the 660?

661 on max oiler setting. held bar/chain over these boxes WOT for 10 sec. This is the spray of oil it produced...

41" cannon oil port wasn't lined up all the way. Also enlarged it to 5/32" like tsumura. Works real good!
So 063 gauge oils better than 058 and 050? I just got a 20" 3/8 063 Cannon superbar plus in. I'll try it soon on a hybrid.

Seems the huskies oil better to me. My 550,372,and 390 soak the chains with oiler maxxed
My 372 does oil well. That 036 you built and ported for me oils extremely well with an 18" bar. I think a high rate oiler should be stock on 90+cc saws. Especially if you're going to use long bars.

If I run a 28" bar on my 66 I'll get oil everywhere, comes over the top of the clutch cover.

Oiler is always on max
Before Keith G. modified my 660's oiler, it didn't lube my 28" ES bar well. The bar was getting so hot, especially when cutting stumps, paint was coming off the bar. After the oiler mod, it runs a lot cooler.
