Saw some whiskey posts in here. Found something kinda really good for the money. Old grandad bonded. It’s 100 proof on the number as any “bonded” bourbon is and actually damn good.

I keep a big bottle of original makers mark around for a go to.

Really like the four roses single batches. They’re bold and just unique

Been drinking willett at the moment cause I thought the bottle was cool.

Anyone else get down with bourbon?
Have some Basil Hayden in the rotation. Also a bottle from a small local distillery. Kinda on a Scotch kick lately. Macallen is hitting the spot at the moment

I haven’t had any booze in over 20 years but Old Grandad used to be in the equivalent of paint thinner/drain cleaner. IIRC. I don’t believe I have ever heard of anyone singing its praises. Glad you found a good blend of it though.

I've had all the different Bandido cigarillos I got from Jim and those might just be replacing my Acid cigarillos I usually smoke at night. Pretty dang tasty.

The 60 packs used to sell for about $19 on cbid but the last few packs were around $30. They do have packs of 120 occasionally also. I believe all those you got have been resting close to a year.

Yeah the original is a no go. The bonded is actually respectable and surprisingly good.

Looks like they're $75 for a 120 pack on Cigars International, or $45 for 60 packs. That's good pricing, I think. I didn't check, but the Acid cigarillos were a buck a piece, last time I bought them.

Anyone had any experience with anything from Privada Cigar Club? Some of the stuff sounds good, but dude keeps relating the cigars he sells to the "craft beer" world. So, I have no idea if the stuff is just "craft beer" priced, or if the stuff is worth what most of it costs.

I order from there once in a while. I find it fun to try. Some are super good some are just ok. Lot of the stuff there is blended just for them so that makes it kinda cool. I’ve tried several

I wondered if you had, or not. You cover some ground on trying different cigars. I really need to do better on that, and break out of the "same ole" like I normally do, mostly cigarillos. I really need to force myself to set aside X amount of evenings and just try different cigars.

I was kinda gathering, that a lot of stuff is blended just for them, but I haven't watched enough stuff to where I was 100% sure. I just found them, or at least only watched anything of theirs, maybe a week ago. I thought about doing their subscription thing, just to get some different stuff coming in.

I watched their YouTube video about the Jopito Privada cigar and that seems pretty interesting to me. Expensive, but interesting.
