Finally ordered those Romeo cigars by AJ Fernandez. Had one last night. Definitely a full bodied smoke with a good flavor. View attachment 403685View attachment 403686
Those are sneaky good. I’ve got one out to smoke. Seems I say something on top of it it’s mashed all to *s-word. Figure I’ll try it to see if it’s ok or not.

I’ve got about 2 boxes of the robusto that were on sale a couple years ago. I was blown away with those. The profile is just perfect in my wheelhouse. There’s a plasencia by aj that’s also killer. Scored a box of those on the cheap on a going out of business sale a good while back. Only problem is they’re Churchill and that’s a little more than I want sometimes.

So, I've got 2 of those "Havana Foot Lockers" and one of them has been giving me fits this winter. Both are full, but one I'm having to spray my beads every week. The other goes a month and a half. Recalibrated my hygrometers and those were good.

So, I figured I'd break the desire for a cabinet humidor, or anything fancy, and just go the coolidor route. I plan on making a shelf across the middle, to help with organizing.
Now I can see what I have better and get better organized. I'll store pipe tobacco mason jars in the foot lockers. They'll work fine for that.

Na, that's OK. I appreciate the offer man.

I saw on Cigar Pass, a guy has 3 of these, with a simple, single shelf, and that's what I'm going after. Essentially, there will be a shelf about a 1/3 of the way up from the bottom, all the way across, and below that, I will have several "compartments". Just pieces of wood from the shelf down. I bought a bunch of those plastic ziploc type cigar bags, that I think will work good with this setup and will organize my non boxed cigars good enough. Those will fill the compartments, below the shelf.

Towards the bottom of page 1, a post by CigarStone, shows what I'm planning. Well, minus 2 coolers. lol Page 3 has a guy who has walls full of totes. Some of these guys are sitting on a fortune, in cigars.

That will be a pretty cool setup. The pipe tobacco won’t mind being in the footlockers.

It will sure help me get organized a bit, I think. Then I can have a designated place to start cellaring some pipe tobacco as well. Kill 2 birds with one stone. 👍🏻
