Cylinders get sold and traded. The builder doesn't always know the history of it. If it looks good it gets used.

It may or may not pertain to anything done in this thread, just simply stating that it does happen. A few respectable builders plus myself missed it the first time.

I did it on my 026. Thought I got rid of all of it but all I did was polish it lol

An 064. Just saying that quite often, and I've done it myself, all of the transfer doesn't get cleaned off.

You should see me clean transfer! I go right through the fugging plating like a boss!

Since this thread started, I've heard from a few more guys that either have yet to get a saw back from Jason after several months, or feel that they got screwed.

I'm done keeping these things quiet......

People don't know anything about them.. probably get more for a pullon.

Those Efcos are good saws........strong runners when the wick is turned up.

I can't say a damn thing about a guy being slow.......hell I've got five Solos here that I've been sitting on for months while I try to keep up with my scheduled work. I'm not gonna make up any *B-S.... stories about why they ain't done though. I just plain have yet to get a chance to work on em. So slow......I understand. Poor work........I do not.

Also take note that on BrokenSVT's saw the piton is slapping the spark plug, this is a sign of things being taken just a little too far with the jug dropping. Yes the plug could be shimmed, but for my taste I would like to see what is inside as too many little red flags are popping up here.

No thats the one I'm replacing look at the groves above the trans ports I'm also hand sanding the new one.
