Don't give up five minutes before the miracle my friend.

Let's hash this out.

How should it have been handled? Behind the scenes? Out of the sight of the very people we are hoping to protect?

You may not like this.......and I admit, it's painful to watch. But we must keep going till we are done. If we stop now, we will just be revisiting this all over again.....but with a new victim.

Bradley paid 1500.00 for a saw. Period.

He did not pay 1500.00 for a pile of junk parts. Do you in any way condone this machine having a crankshaft in it that was rusty? The rust on the crank bells ain't a real issue........but the rod bearing, wrist pin bearing, and both main bearing were pitted and shedding rust into the engine. Is that acceptable?

So.......Bradley sends it back to Jason. He fixes the oil pump issue, and sends it back. Next the crank goes. Or maybe the Hyway piston that was supposed to be OEM fails. What then?

All the while we are keeping this from the members of this site?

Then the next victim is our fault.

No need to dredge up this old stuff, Randy. Just let it go. That'll make everything better.

For one guy, anyway. ;)

As far as giving Jason 1 opportunity to fix the Saw, & the "then what" questioning, that's not how you & I did things when I sent you a saw that had problems: we worked thru it. Even though I had to send it back a 2nd time.

That's what adults do; they work their problems out together.

See, my dislike of this whole thing doesn't have anything to do with Jason, it's that you've got too caught up in this mess.

I never said keep it from the members: just the Facts Mam, Just The Facts.

Why would you give a guy that lied to you that bad the oppurtunity to fukk you 2 times.

Adults do work out their problems.

Jason doesn't handle his problems like an adult.

Facts was posted in the pictures they keep asking for I know you like nice saws heath I have seen some of yours and I know if you paid that much for a saw you would expect a new or near new saw with all oem parts not a cobbled up mess

I completely expect Jason to ether refund the money or give Bradley a New Saw.

One of those 2.

I will readily admit to be on a mission. I feel a certain responsibility to our members.

but we know neither will happen

I have rebuilt saws and I used aftermarket parts and had to eat the price of a gasket set and a piston because I had used a aftermarket gasket set that wasn't good quality and gave the saw a airleak and sucking bar oil into the crank area

If this was any other builder's Saw, & you being associated with this site like you are, I don't believe you would have agreed to take the Saw & swap out the Oiler.

I know you've repaired other builders saws, & those builders are no longer on this site for the most part.

Did you do a thread about them, or did you fix those Saws, & go on?

What else is there at this point?

Added:

You do have the responsibility to promote openness & honesty.

I've fixed saws by about every builder out there. This saw started out as a simple repair between the owner and myself. It was not until I saw how bad everything was that I decided to start this thread. I pulled the clutch drum to find this cheesy looking clutch that was slipping.

Then I found a completely worn out oil pump drive.

Then an oil pump that was complete garbage.
