Each event requires a differing approach, like your criticism of me as a moderator. I am choosing to let it go because you have some sort of ax to grind with me.

No, I recommend ALL these saws be checked by the owners or their favorite wrench. When *s-word like rusty cranks are used it just got "real" dicey at best. Have you ever had a saw go boom like the one that grenaded in Brad Snellings hands? I have and he will tell you it is a sinking feeling knowing that bigger *s-word could have come out. Until you have picked metal from your body you will never understand. I have. Do you want to?

Also, had a 044 clutch explosion on a piss revved chainsaw in the old basement shop. Clutch shoes stuck in the hard wood floor above. The first good boom I was involved in at 19 in my 4x4 truck @7.5K 3rd gear flat shift, sectioned the main shaft in the starter. Almost section myself that day. Bye Bye bell housing. Stupid dummy me had the Lakewood blast shield and plate hanging on the wall in the shop, not good.

My point, if someone builds inferior dangerous *s-word how many times has he done it?

I was a very big part of the thread on the Edwad saw blowing up. The thread was locked once Jason had the last word, why was that? The proof was laid out there. The threats were proven also. But all of that was ok.. Nothing was done about it, not a f...... thing..!

So why would somone want to come on here again telling the same thing that they said the last time? They werent listed to then, Why now? The chances of this happening would have been greatly reduced to the owner of this saw..

Last I checked this was suppose to be a chainsaw forum,not abunch of men running around beating on there chest. But obviously if your not in the rite click, you cant ask a question.. but others can run around cussing ranting and raving..

Hurts when all the different camps sound off and you realise things aren't a pretty as they seem don't it ?

Saws in the big picture don't mean a damn thing to me , what counts is health , happiness and my family .
That's my oldest son commanding that tank in my avatar , my youngest a medic . I'm proud of them and hope they stay safe with the world teetering on the brink of war .
Chainsaws , so what , just a machine that cuts wood .

We're doing ok here. It's healthy for members of the site to feel comfortable enough to sound off when they need too. When push comes to shove these guys will pull together.
