Chainsaw GTG, Aussie Style

I occaisionally cut pines, I would have to say they are the softest species with spread out growth rings I encounter. I usually run full chisel chain and it lasts well, pine makes your saw feel super fast, its fun to noodle. I always keep a few rounds to noodle into boards then cut with a hatchet for good kindling and save some noodles to start the fireplace. 20+" pine would be fun GTG wood that would keep up the RPMz.

My saws, with square file chain, go through White Pine like it is paper mache, but the sap really makes a mess of things!

Some pine soft but you can find some hard knoty stuff down my way.

We had zoro phone reception all weekend
Just got home

Picked up a few strays to work on
There are a couple 460's in the box
