Hey guys, my saw stopped instantly after WOT. I just so happened to be filming it and decided to make a diagnosis video and my thought process.

Hope you enjoy, it sure is a surprising issue, never happened before and I had already ran 4 tanks through it no problem a year or so ago after a full rebuild!

After the 1st wot 1:55 it didn’t sound right … I’ve paused the vid when you said to…. I think it’s something to do with you changing over to motomix ?

Carb problems have been the Achilles heal of the Stihl 034 AV. That includes mine. Occasionally I take it out and run it until it stops like it did here. Mine usually runs much longer. Then I pick up another saw to finish up, usually my Stihl MS361 that never fails.
