Offset can make a big difference in cutter shape, especially inside the side cutter

I found that with semi-chisel, NOT full chisel, the 10 degree offset helps the chain self-feed.

I am getting the Stihl USG, not sure there is even an offset on that,
won't know until it arrives.
i HAVE ONE , AND THE OFFSET IS PLUS 15 DEGREES ON THE
SLIDEDING BASE AND MINUS 15 DEGREES FOR THE OTHER SIDE
A usg IS TRUE ON BOTH LEFT AND RIGHT CUTTERS
ENJOY THE PRESCISION AND GREAT HOOK YOU WILL ACHIEVE

the plus & minus slide provides the attack angle of the wheel to the chain
and its like the offset on the oregon clones
on the stihl the slide gives you : hook ' adjustments. I like the usg slide
measurements better-
