Another product that I am going to try spraying on my saw and hosing off is the Selly's BBQ exterior spray you buy at the supermarket.
Works well to degrease my BBQ

I use this for 1/10th the cost

just pour it in a empty spray bottle.

I use a heated sonic cleaner with water/simple green. Then wd40 them. Never had any issues. ..

i use a pneumatic paint shaker i put a few chains in paint can add some kerosene or diesel
it will clean the ugly goo and gunk off anything.
