Hi Folks.

When I was fixing up my own saws, $10 to $20 for a carb kit was not a big problem.

Now that I am fixing up bulk saws, I am chasing the most cost effective way to source carb rebuild parts.

I am hoping some of the folks who already do this work can help me with the best way and places to get carb parts to keep costs down.

oh my bad bud I didn't look at your location. For me they are great. I ordered a kit for my 306a for $2.99 and it was a full kit.
What are their shipping rates like? I normally order off of eBay. Wondering if it would be more cost effective to buy from these guys.

I've never ordered from Carb Tech, usually Dave is my goto for kits now. The last I ordered from them anything over $50 shipped free.

Dang! That's better than my employee discount!
That is because Stihl prices are usually outrageous. Stihl replacement parts alone could keep the aftermarket parts sources in business. If only the aftermarket suppliers could make decent fuel lines...

At the shop we don't order kits from Stihl....We get them from PES, PD, and Barbero. Our cost is like $6.13 and we sell for $14.95. Yeah, some fuel lines from stihl are outrageous. Most expensive one I have sold cost $15.95!

I quit buying those from them. There is a guy on eBay selling them new OEM with the filters reasonably priced.
