specs show nwp replacement fuel line is 3/32 ID and 3/16 OD. Mine is the older 670 and does not use this style hose. I would give it a try to see if it takes care of the problem.

Some of mine use the spiral line others use straight bulk line. You can go back and forth for the most part. At most you would have to reuse the gromet cut off the old line.

Both of mine use a fuel line with a built in grommet like a stihl

This one has no grommet it's a 1997 which I believe the later ones didn't have a grommet right?
