I used to run the stilh high perf orange bottle. Then I switched to stihl ultra. Now I'm running red armor. 50:1. I don't run my saws 8 hours a day, but when I do use them it's for a good 3 hours at a time. Heck, I've had one of my 460's for a few years and it still looks new!

I think the mix was not mixed to well... earlier on the day they were running 20:1 then 10 tanks later 40:1 and at days end the last of the mix was 130:1 all from the same mix container. Many tree guys don't take much pride in the way they deal with mixing fuel. They measure as they're pouring in the oil to however they 'feel' is right. Certainly no shake of the can.
