A friend of mine got me into shaking the gas can first, good habit to get into I reckon.
That is a perfect analogy, after all the saws I've done i still worry about every one.I guess when I think about it, saws you build are like children. You take good care of them, buy them the best things then send them off into the world on their own. Only to show back up at your door, broke and needing to stay with you for a while.
When the oil seperates and you tip the saw on the side ,only one side of the piston gets lubes and will seize the gassy only side .All this time Ive been told on here any oil will work and 50to1 was plenty of oil ??!!
I had heard that dealers have some kind of a strip they can dip in the fuel in the tank to see how much oil is in the gas, is this true, anybody ever heard of such a thing and if so where could they be acquired?
I would have guessed the Stihl spit out the Husky piston because it tasted horrible .
Is just a saw from a loging company , the boss pay for the saws and the operators dont give a sh1t for the equipments
dont worry , the boss have money................... he buy news
Pretty much nailed itIts not only the oil or the ratio most of them they dont have change fuel filters for years they dont have clean the saws for years , the same and for other parts ,
many of them maybe they are pro fallers but they dont know to listen if the saw work good if its too lean or too rich they just know that the saw must make noise and thats it , they never sent the saw for a looking if everything is fine if need a seal or a filter , and if sometihing go bad the first that they do is to put the screwdriver to the L or H thinking that theese screws are the cure of any problem , never mind if a seal leak like crazy they still turn the screws
and if the service tell them ohh now you need 200 or 300 for repairs the only that they know to tell is
sh1t theese husqvarnas are tones of problems i must have buy stihl , or theese stihls are tones of problems i must have buy husqvarna
the operator of this filter accidently use burn machine oil for two stroke oil............... accidently not that he wantI never have seen one of them
