The Stihl tools are far more complicated, and don't support the inner race on either side.

I'd love to have the Stihl crank tools. Pantelis had a hand made set on another thread. He removed and installed the crank without heat (according to what I could see). Am I understanding the crank tools can be used to install the bearings and put the case halves together without heat? Or am I reading something into this?

In some cases heat is still needed to install the bearing in the case. Then the crank can be pulled in.

When we crank together the flywheel side, most of those kits to Husky has a socket who is to fat to slide through the seal 505 27 57 19 who has dimension 26 mm.
Whatever kit people purchase, just purchase one kit who fit most of the crank threads you work with. And make one socket who come with 346 kit, with this socket you have the preasure exactly where it should be.

Noticed in a Stihl repair book it tells which holes(by number) to use and goes into detail of how to use their crank puller for anyone wanting to try it out.
