Here’s what doesn’t make any sense, the evolution of battery powered tools has been gaining momentum every year so why put a law into place to force everybody to get battery powered equipment, it’s a power thing, big government wants to rule our lives. Hey I like gas saws just as much as the next guy. Im just saying that for a lot of saw work it was lighter, safer, and easier to use . There is no denying that. As for keeping the batteries charged most of the pickups I see - including mine - now have ac outlets.

Anyway I try to be optimistic that we can still “hot rod” our saws. If you are old enough to remember slot car racing you can remember rewinding rotors with bigger gauge wire, etc.
