Need Bryanr2 or Randy to chime in on that don't really know but there is a big difference

A finger port is a new groove cut into the cylinder to allow airflow to somewhere. (as opposed to enlarging existing ports). Someone can probably post a picture as that's worth a lot more than my 1000 words...

its an extra port ground from the side of the lower transfer port on the intake side, into the cylinder wall, extending up near where upper transfers open
