Helping a friend out. He won this saw in a raffle but has hit some hard times and wants to sell. Saw is brand new never been gased. Box hasn't even been opened yet.
Asking 600.00 plus postage. Comes with bar and chain and what ever else comes with a new saw.

Buy this one and a few other while your at it, CAD is real. I started with one and now have 12 and counting! A good 50cc is a great start and can handle a good bit of work.

I have a coworker that swears by his 460, I have a 261c and really like it too. I happened across a 272 and it is my new favorite. See if you can borrow a saw or two around the size you are looking for, give them a try, that will help you see what you like/dislike about them. You may find that the 550, 562, 261 are on the small side. You might decide you need a bigger one for bucking and a smaller one for limbing. You may end up like most of us and have chainsaws coming out our ears, something for every occasion and a few to work/rebuild when it is snowing or downpouring outside.

That is great if you know him, but I imagine most folks on here don’t. I have never seen a 550xp in a factory box with a bar & chain. That was the reason for my question.
