Who knows. I use Amsoil, over 4 years now and no problems at all and its affordable. Use that and don't worry about it anymore. This debate could go on for as long as 2 cycle engines exist. It prob would help to know what oils don't do their job.

Whats up steve this is why i asked i here stihl ultra synthetic is no good just bought some is why i asked have had good luck with the echo power blend but thinking of red guard i hear so much about or schaefers or amsoil heard sev bad things of stihl oil and heard husky and stihl oil made from same conpany just diff dies sont know how true it is

All I can tell you is the Amsoil at 40 to 1 works fine. Stihl oil is real costly.

Stihl Ultra has only a JASO FB rating while Amsoil Saber Professional is JASO FD.
