Very nice. What's the idea behind the round inserts. Do you trim a file to length to fit between them and use the inserts to index the file?

To my knowledge, all the current guide offerings will only fit a round file for sharpening, or a flat file for rakers. The round inserts allow you to use a double bevel after cutting the tang off.

I was able to fit a triangular file in my granberg file a joint. Getting the roll angle of the file correct is a little bit of a challenge though.
