Hallo, dont quit use Red Armor, the best You can do If you are going to use Aspen is to bye the blue can and mix With oil.
The orange can is ready mix With Aspen oil 50:1 But it can not compete With red armor. Trust me. We have had Aspen in Sweden for more than 15 years.

I’m sure the aspen fuel is pretty clean burning but I’d prefer my own mix as well. Klotz is biodegradable and I’ve never had an issue with using year old fuel with it.

I buy the 2 takt and throw in a little extra full synthetic. Someone here (in Sweden) was saying that mixing another oil with it would 'degrade it's properties'. Do you know anything about this?

It is still available here, it is what i mix with, half the price of Motul 800 and doesn't leave nearly as much carbon deposits.

Junkman found several cases at his distributor for bulk oil and I got 3 or 4 cases. I traded a couple off for a parts saw and sold another case

i remember that it was discontinued and then brought back to production after some modifications, it's available here in europe and produced in italy.

Yeh I can defo agree with the headache thing. , my mate uses aspen2 and I had to use his saw on a milling job. I thought it was worse than my petrol mix.

I use aspen premix in all my saws, but I mix in some extra aspen 2 stroke oil in the 5L jugs I buy.

Really don't know, but hey it's like the flamethrower invention, first you need a person who wants to burn things or persons from a distance and has a friend thats really good skills in building things..... = a flamethrower.......

Does this stop the headache? I don't think so, same kind gasses are still coming out from the engine, just smell is different.
