They have been really pushing this new phone app and with the responses in the original thread started by Arbor1 I had expected it to be dropped. Nope. Which makes the whole thing highly suspect, imo.
The bots are everywhere also. Every time I give out my cell phone in p.m. on here or FB messenger I get spam phone calls for the next week. The whole AI, bot, WTFever it is can fugg right offAnything loaded on a cellphone just seems to be aimed at data mining.
All this week, the local TV station has been pushing harder on a "weather app" that tracks your location rather than your address... What used be considered a privacy issue has become a marketing feature now.

Not to be political, but I understand that Musk’s whole point in building Tesla cars is data collection (through cameras and location) to help train the upcoming humanoid robots.
When the app idea was first put out as a question as to who would be interested, it was overwhelmingly apparent that nobody wants an app vs. just using a browser.
