I'm getting between 22 and 24 mpg on the highwayThe GM trucks rattle a lot after about 50k miles on rough roads. They would drive me crazy. I don't really care for the auto but with all the highway driving I do the higher rpm cruising with the manual wasn't really feasible. I would be getting about 13-14 mpg instead of 18 on highway.

If I had to guess I would say 3/4 of a cord .Gotcha, I wasn't sure how much would fit in the bed of that truck, I think I can get half a cord in the (long)bed of my F250 if I stack neatly.

My buddy truck stock is only getting 14 mpgI think the newer Duramax will do that stock with the Allison, I guess it could depend on the gearing though.
I know for sure my 7.3 IDI with a C6 behind it and a Dana 80 with 4.56s and posi only gets about eight.

Transmission first fore sure .I need to do that to mine now it's out of warranty and almost paid for. Have to save up for a transmission build.
