I was wondering if anyone else uses Sawsuppliers.com? In the past I've had good luck with them, but a recent order I placed was flagged by UPS at the local hub as damaged, and returned directly back to Sawsuppliers by UPS. I emailed Saqwsuppliers 5 days ago, when UPS flagged it, and have gotten no reply. And I did check my spam folder just in case.

UPS returned the package two days ago, and Sawsuppliers has made no move to replace the order. So I this morning I called the phone number on the site, and got a message that said "during this busy fall season we're focusing on internet orders" and if there was a problem the best way to reach them was by email. Yeah, so much for that.

Has anybody else used them lately, or ever gotten through to any kind of customer service or support?

Lots of youtubers promoting them. Based on the number of subscribers to some of these channels, they could be swamped (no excuse). Anyway, I can’t believe the number of people wanting to watch chainsaw videos!!

This is the first I am hearing of them, bummer that they seem to be flaking out as opposed to your past experience. As @Duane(Pa) noted - hopefully the reason is they are swamped with an influx of customers instead of just being shady, hopefully they will respond to your email and get everything sorted out to your satisfaction!

Thanks. Not being a Youtube fan I didn't know that. They have always shipped fast before, except on special order parts (which they let you know about up front). Last time I had a question, I emailed them and got a response in a couple of days.

Not responding to emails is one thing, but not answering the phone (but then telling you to email them and then not replying) is poor service, in my book. Meanwhile, I'm still waiting on stuff I ordered from them because I needed it pretty quick.

Thanks again!

So I did a little digging on sawsuppliers because there are often posts on Facebook groups about them being hard to contact or non-responsive.

I believe their physical store is actually called Lube Suppliers Store in Stanley, WI. Some have said that this name shows up on bank statements.

Here are some other numbers you could try to contact:

Lube Supplier Store

308 Development Dr Stanley, WI 54768

Thank you, I really do appreciate your help and all that information! And yes, the UPS shipping source is always listed as "Lube Suppliers Store".

Well, they didn't reply to my email, but I got a notice that they were reshipping the order today. So while communication isn't great, at least they have or will reshipped. And their prices, especially on Echo stuff, are always good, so I will order from them again.

Thanks, everyone, it seems posting here almost immediately fixed the problem! ;) :)

I think I ordered a Tsumura light bar from them a few years ago. It was a smooth transaction. I would blame their communication issues on being too busy and the terrible breakdown of communication skills in society in general. People are no longer expected to return calls, apparently, at least judging by all the complements I receive when returning business calls I missed.

sue the bastards

LOL. No need to do that, as I'd like to order from them again.

To be fair, they did ship the initial order promptly, and it's not their fault UPS damaged the order (I'm guessing they busted the gallon jug of Red Armor oil). A little communication is all I would ask for. "Hey, we see that the order was damaged, we'll get it re-shipped soon" shouldn't be too hard.

Communication skills, and politeness in general, seem to be fading into the sunset, for sure.

I’m remembering some things… I saw a youtuber getting a tour of their shop. They had as much lube as saw stuff. Also when I mail any boxes at usps, the make me sign a promise to cover any costs of the catastrophe my package causes 🤔😳

Communication skills are sadly declining at a breakneck pace. I was on hold yesterday for over 90 minutes yesterday with a State of Illinois office.......I have up. I called another and was put on hold them they disconnected after 45 minutes.

I understand that companies are based throughout the country and with 5 time zones in the 48 states it makes things tough. I love companies based in the western portion. If their hours are 8-5 Pacific then I can call them later since they are open until 7 PM my time. If they are in the east and are open the same hours then they are closed by 4 PM. It is really frustrating if their hours are 8-4 as then it is 3 PM.

I have used them a couple of times. One order I stopped in store to pickup and it was not ready and had to wait for them to pull my saw order and they threw in a gallon of bar oil because of the delay/inconvenience, this was early last fall about the same time their internet sales were exploding.
Yes they do operate out of their Lube Supply business and started Saw Supplier out of the same building.

I know from the YT side they have rapidly grown and have had growing pain issues but have been doing what they can to fix issues as quickly as possible, no excuse really but they do seem to recognize they are having teething issues and working towards fixing them.

Their pricing seems competitive and with 10% discount codes on saws it makes for some of the cheapest prices, If they continue having some of the better pricing I will continue using them otherwise I shop best pricing so there is that.

I saw a post they made replying to a similar Facebook thread where they explained they are a family business of only a few folks and they had a death in the family and are swamped as they were growing rapidly. No affiliation with them or have even placed an order with them, but that would certainly explain it.

I have found some inconsistencies in their pricing options which they are trying to get corrected.

Not an exact example but something along the lines of ordering online a saw with 24" the bar price is different if ordering it on a 462 vs a 500i vs 500iR same bar option but the price may be different depending on saw selection.

Easier for me to get everything here through Bruce. I message him one day and get a price usually that afternoon or the next. Tell him I want it and it’s here 3 days later with extra padding added around every saw.

I agree, HL supply is a great outfit to buy from, no complaints so far, everything arrives on-time and well packaged. There was one time that a part ordered was actually out of stock and they went above and beyond to make it better.
