Magnus was a collector in Sweden. He had his own site. He has a ton of knowledge, I would love to invite him to visit and share his wealth of knowledge. I think @Tor R is another good resource but I guess it depends what you are looking for?

Fwiw. I am part Swedish, I like Swedish chainsaws, I have many.

Also, I am a huge fan of Swedish Meatballs. Can I get a witness? Can I get a hell Yeah?

Magnus is still active, a couple of weeks ago they had a chainsaw meetup in Sweden that he organizes.
From what I've heard, he has data on new spare parts he has, but not used parts.

A Norwegian who lives there always brought Swedish meatballs when he came hunting in Southern Norway, and he was good at putting the pots together too, yummy yummy

I have replied to your PM, I live 6 hours drive from the border with Sweden, so far that I have never bothered to drive to Sweden for chainsaws.

When I was active with Swedish dachshunds I drove to Sweden, to the middle of the country, and it took me about 10-11 hours of driving.

We used to spend many weekends traveling Iowa with my sons when they were kiddos to county pedal pulls. They would win, and win consistently. Once winning it was off to the Iowa State Pull. Once you advanced out of the state pull it was a 10 hour run west to that National Pull in South Dakota. Along the way I picked up saws.

I am quite familiar with the international site and with Magnus. I have been on the site since 2006 which is shortly after it began. Over the years I have watched it change drastically. Last evening I was on the phone with a decades long friend that has been on there for just as many years as I and he concurred.. It is nothing like it was years ago.

After 20 years, it is understandable that the heavy players there have reached the finish line with the collection and also all the documentation.
The interest is perhaps less than it was at its peak.
That also applies to us who have soon reached the age of ten, there is no doubt that the forum was more enthusiastic 5 years ago.
