I would be worried about making the transfer lazy going down to 115 … will someone more knowledgeable than me please pipe in and say if I'm right or wrong? IMO, 120 S/B OK.

I believe you are right. 120 would be mo bedda. I havent done anything to the jug yet. Maybe I should add fingers?

Done for today. Missing the little seal that goes between the oil pump and the case and a muffler. Going to see the Greek on Wednesday. I'll grab one of dual ports from him.

Installed the winter metal mesh filter and AM cover. I think I will replace it with OEM. I ordered some K&N filter wraps off eBay. If they work well I'll have to get some more.

And one of those new orange fuel filters...

Thanks Al. It would be fired up already if I only had a muffler. Curious to see how long the elastostart hangs in there. :)
No shame in a decomp Dan.

The problem isn’t ever displacement or compression, at least for me. It’s the saw firing BTDC that will rip you up.

I guess the comp and displacement can slow down ones pull and allow the above to happen.

Have you checked comp? 15o on a 92cc saw feels like more comp than 240 on a 49cc saw, I know this first hand.

180 would be your sweet spot there.

And from my experiences Stihl and dolmar tends to do that... But husky didn't. Pretty wired. My 372s and 288 never bite me.
But the dolmar ps 52 bites me with that 50cc motor.

Lol. Ain't no shame in my game. The Stihl decomp was leaking like a sieve. You could hear air escaping as you rolled the motor over by hand.

I threw a Husky decomp on there and it seems to be holding. I ordered some new ones today. Gonna make sure this saw is done right.

Looking back Dan, I probably should have mentioned about the muff being missing my bad

Actually, I think you did Oisin. No worries, as I have to wait for that oil line/spacer anyway.

I think I lost the thing when I was pressure washing the cases. IIRC it was there when I started.

Wow. Just got an email from Stihl. The wrap and R clutch cover for this thing are only 25 EU each....not bad. Cheapest I found on eBay was like $60+ for the cover.
Sounds good Dan!!!! Make sure that the saw is complete before spending it to me. Hehehehehe!!!

Well, I got some parts and struck out on the OEM muffler. I'm going to grab the AM one an get this thing running.

I'm liking the way this thing is going to look when the 3/4 wrap arrives.
