Morning. Some updates.

I dug out the old flywheel (right) and compared it to the new one (left). It looks like the timing on the 9010 flywheel is retarded quite a bit from the 9000 was.

I'm curious about about advancing the timing on the 9010 setup. I went with 1/4" rotation at the fins and we'll see what that does.

Got the cylinder mounted. Looks pretty cool after media blasting.

Also got the recoil serviced and threw on a D-handle. It probably won't stay, but I didn't have a decent handle to put on at the moment.

Rainy day updates. Not much going on for the day, so I'm packing and shipping saws.

Catching a few minutes here and there to make some progress on this build.

I just threw the top cover on to see what it looks like. Gotta get that sticker off. It's a tough SOB. Even acetone hasn't phased it yet.

Bing carb nestled in it's hole. This carb is of unknown status. It may work like a champ and it may fight me. We'll see.

I did err to the side of insurance and grabbed one of the NOS Bing 49's that @K Mueller posted up recently.

I also have a WJ115 off a 395 that I believe can be made to work on this saw.

Some AV action going on before tank install. These are listed as Shock Absorber in the newest IPL.

The site I use to order parts lists this as a Limiter, which makes more sense to me, as it only limits side to side travel.
