Did you check them against the bore? Just curiousI measured from the base to the squish band in 4 spots, all within 0.001". This one was a lucky one.

I think ALL of the saws that I currently own are saws that other people had given up on. So in other words, abandoned problem saws! LolI’ve seen more cracked cases in 064s than any other pro saw. There’s quite a few potential reasons for it, but anyone building one up (or selling one) should carefully look it over.

Does JMS have a name? or just avoid anything that has JMS carved into it.Just be cautious. jms is up near you...Stay away...Caveat Emptor.
